Once your cupboards and refrigerators shelves are full of healthy and natural foods, you can then determine what your daily calorie intake should be. This will help you plan your daily meals accordingly. You might also want to start reading ingredient labels, as this will help you identify which foods are rich in carbohydrates.
In the beginning of your food overhaul, make sure to avoid sugary treats at all costs. They can sabotage your weight loss success. Once your body is cleansed from all the preservatives and sugars that you ate on a regular basis, you will feel more energized and healthy. And after you’ve lost a few pounds, it’s okay to add in a sugary treat once and a while. But you might find that when you don’t eat high sugar foods regularly, you don’t crave them as much anymore. If you are unable to cut out carbohydrates completely from your daily diet, then at least try cutting back on them. Too many carbohydrates in anyone’s diet can cause severe weight gain and a host of other health issues. The key is to eat them in moderation.
