Greatest Sports Moment: “Being branded. And Oscar (De La Hoya) knowing my name. He calls me Un Puno which is ‘one punch’ in Spanish. At Mayweather-Mosley were were ringside, backstage – me and Oscar know each other for years. He’s been watching my development. He said, Un Puno, how you been? I told him I’ve been working on Punchline, he said, I see, I see! He said, Kid, you’re gonna be a millionaire in two years. So it’s always been a dream. When a millionaire tells me I’m gonna be a millionaire, I felt like I’m on top of the world.”

Most Painful Moment: “Losing my first fight (L4 Andre Hemphill in 2006).”

Funny Boxing Memory: “When Evander Holyfield got his ear bit off.”

Embarrassing Boxing Memory: “That one still – when Mike Tyson had the outburst and started going crazy. That hurt me.”

Strangest Fight: “I guess fighting a kid named Andre Hemphill (2007). I was beating him, beat him and they ended up giving me a draw. So that’s been the strangest fight for me.”

Favorite Boxers To Watch: “Floyd. The newcomers – the Peterson brothers. Paul Williams. Sergio Martinez.”

Favorite Sports Outside Boxing: “Basketball.”

Worst Injury From Boxing: “For boxing – a boxer walking away from this sport broke.”

Childhood Dream: “You know what? The interesting thing about my life is my middle name is Quasar. I don’t tell a lot of people that. One of the most embarrassing moments is when kids teased me and called me my name. One night I came home and said, I hate my name. Mom, why did you name me that? She said, Sit down boy, I named you Quasar because you were named after a star. I said, I thought it was a TV set. No that’s a star. At that time I didn’t know what a star was. But once I saw one I realized I always was one. And star is somebody that shines bright, that people are attracted to. And something that really shows a flare and attracts others. So at that point, that’s when I knew that I had all the qualities to become a star.”
