Mike Wilbon Calls Floyd Mayweather A “Coward” On National TV

Posted on 07/16/2010

This has to be a first in the history of boxing in the United States of America. Michael Wilbon, the popular co-host of the ESPN sports talk show “Pardon The Interruption” has called undefeated five-time champion Floyd Mayweather “a coward” for his adamant refusal to sign a contract to fight Manny Pacquiao, a contract which would be worth between $30,000,000 and $40,000,000 – and that’s not even counting the sure-to-be inserted rematch clause.

Wilbon, also a Columnist for the Washington Post newspaper, and a supporter of the sport of boxing, obviously has grown frustrated at the ducking antics of Mayweather, which have been sponsored and supported for years by so many important figures in the America media, has had enough. In this You Tube video, Wilbon lashes out at Mayweather and his pathetic schemes to attempt to duck Manny Pacquiao for the second time in seven months…
