The Associated Press is reporting that UK heavyweight Dereck “Del Boy” Chisora has now been released after seven hours of questioning by German police over his role in a press conference brawl with fellow UK heavyweight David Haye yesterday in Munich, following Chisora’s unanimous decision loss to WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.
According to the report, Chisora could still be charged with causing grievous bodily harm. The police continue to search for David Haye, whose whereabouts are currently unknown. Haye fled the scene of the melee immediately following the skirmish.
