Craig David: “Best training I’ve ever had”

London, July 2011 – Renowned boxing and fitness coach Faisal Mohammed has opened a boutique personal training gym in Notting Hill, London. The former World Kickboxing Champion and unbeaten pro boxer offers a unique and innovative approach to personal training. “The Champion Effect” aims for peak physical condition, endurance, discipline and focus, positivity and increased energy levels. “Faisal has given me the best and the most inspiring personal training I have ever had,” star singer Craig David said. “His unique approach has given me the best mental and physical condition I have ever had. He has planted the winning mentality into me.”

Faisal certainly knows a thing or two about challenges. Having accumulated countless medals in kick-boxing, Faisal became the youngest world champion ever when he won the heavyweight gold medal at the World Championships at age 21.

Wanting a new challenge, Faisal switched to boxing, turning professional with Frank Warren. After seven straight victories, six of those coming inside the distance, disaster struck Faisal’s promising career as he was diagnosed with high blood pressure during a routine check-up.

The British Boxing Board deemed it was too dangerous for him to continue in the sport.

“At first I was very disappointed but then I decided to turn this sporting setback into my next challenge,” Faisal said. “I transformed my energy towards providing world-class training on a personal basis. I am combining training methods that led me to world championship glory along with a unique approach to physical exercise. And now everybody who wants to lead a healthier and more positive life can.”

The negative was turned into the positive, and “The Champion Effect” was born. Celebrities, business executives and athletes alike are attracted by Faisals training techniques. “Faisal has given me the most extreme workout to date and helped my body regain the tone after having a child. His positivity is infectious,” BBC Presenter Cerrie Burnell said.

Faisals New York loft style gym is located in the historic Pall Mall Deposit, situated within close proximity of Notting Hill’s famous Portobello market. After the summer, the gym will be promoting white collar events in unique locations around the capital.
