Greg Page Foundation Second Annual Fundraising Dinner

Executive Inn West–Louisville, KY
Saturday, June 14th, 2008 7 pm to 9 pm

Dear Friend:

The Greg Page Foundation is a 501©3 registered charity whose mission is to assist people and their families affected by disabilities in accessing information and services that improve their quality of life. To advance this mission, we will be hosting our Second Annual Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Executive West in Louisville, KY.

The Greg Page Foundation, Inc was founded by Dennis Page and was inspired by the struggles and valiant efforts of his brother Greg Page, proud Louisville native and 1984 WBA Heavyweight boxing champ. Greg suffered career ending permanent brain damage in a boxing match on March 9, 2001 that left him paralyzed on his left side. Although the ongoing illnesses caused by this brain injury are debilitating, they have never diminished the strength of Greg’s fighting spirit, courage and determination or that of his loving family in their advocacy on his behalf and for others faced with similar challenges.

The facts are staggering: there are approximately 360,000 individuals in Jefferson County living with the physical, mental and financial devastation of permanent disabilities. Many, due to limited income, lack of transportation and other life struggles are hampered in their abilities to access information about available services and the processes for obtaining them–in spite of the laudable outreach efforts of the various service agencies. The Greg Page Foundation is committed to bridging that gap between the disabled in need of services and those that provide these services.

We need your help in furthering this mission. Perhaps you could send one or more gift items or service certificates for the silent auction, or even purchase ad space in the program. Your generous gift is tax-deductible and would be far reaching. Recognition of donors will appear in our press releases to major publications and newspapers locally and nationally as well and in the auction catalogue. Thanks to the generous supporters of the 2007 Inaugural dinner and silent auction. We will soon begin work on the Greg Page Foundation, Inc building that will house our programs, the first of its kind in the Metro Louisville area. It will be renovated to meet the many needs of the disabled and their loved ones. Please join us in continuing this important mission by making a donation for the silent auction, purchasing ad space in the program AND by attending the June 14th event.

We will need to receive or collect your donations by Friday May 16, 2008 in order to meet publication deadlines.

For tickets and any additional information, please call us at (502) 363-3609.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

DENNIS “LD” PAGE
President
