July 31, 2012 – Philadelphia’s undefeated heavyweight prospect, Joey Dawejko (7-0-1, 4 KOs), makes a quick return to the ring on Friday August 18, 2012 when he faces another undefeated foe in Dorsett Barnwell (6-0, 3 KOs). After scoring a 4th round knockout against Edwin Ranquillo (2-2, 1 KO) last June, Dawejko is excited to be fighting in New Jersey.

“It’s always nice to be fighting near home,” said Joey Dawejko. “This will be my forth fight in 2012 and I want to thank my promoter Boxing 360 for keeping me busy. Every time I step in the ring I feel I’m improving and learning something new about myself. I feel confident in my ability to win this fight and I looking to put on a great show for my hometown fans. If I get him hurt, I will definitely go for the knockout.”

“Joey is looking better and better each and every time he steps in the ring,” said Boxing 360 promoter Mario Yagobi. “He’s gaining the quality experience he will need to take his career to the next level and I’m hoping to get him three more fights by the end of the year. I want to position him to 10-0 before we start really stepping it up.”

Tickets priced at $75 & $50 and can be purchased at Ballys, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 736-1420 or online at ticketmaster.com or Pound for Pound Promotions by calling 201-867-2008 and Ask for Kathy.

Ballys Park Place Hotel Casino is located 1900 Pacific Ave., Atlantic City, NJ, 08401. Doors open at 7:00 p.m ET, first fight starts at 7:30 p.m
