WILL MCDERMOTT PAY THE PRICE

David Price has stated his showdown with Big Bad John McDermott as his hardest fight to date and knows there will be no room for mistakes if he is to go onto the next level.

“No disrespect to John, but he has had his chance on more than one occasion, and has always ended up second best and I intend to keep it that way come saturday night in Liverpool”

“John is one of the most talented fighters in Europe and the unluckiest having been on the wrong end of a few decision. But come saturday 19th November no mistakes will be made and there will be no need for judges” says David Price

Promoter Frank Maloney who looks after both fighters expects this to be another heavyweight classic as both men are putting everything on the line!

McDermott says “David has never met a fighter like me and I am going to take him into the trenches and give him the fight of his life and I promise all my fans I will come out triumphant”

David has had 11 fights 11 wins 9 by stoppage and only twice has he been taken the distance but won every round with a staggering 82% KO record.

John Mcdermott has been in with the elite of UK heavyweights, boxed 33 times 26 wins 17 by KO with only 7 loses. He has boxed 145 rounds compared to the 31 rounds David has boxed.

Chief support to the main event will be for the English Super Flyweight Title between John Donnelly and Martin Power.

David Price v John McDermott November 19th at the Olympia Liverpool Live on SKY SPORTS HD1.
