Former Heavyweight champ Mike Tyson appeared Friday on the ABC talk show “The View” hosted by Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Star Jones and Joy Behar on Friday. A polite and engaging Tyson chatted with the four ladies before an attentive live audience, through the first two 10-minute segments of the show and it was clearly a very successful and positive appearance. During the show Tyson talked about his previous interview with Walters in 1988 (with ex-wife Robin Givens), achieving the World Boxing Hall of Fame later this year, about the possibility of training young boxers like Cus D’Amato did with him, why he bit Holyfield, why he felt insecure – even at the prime of his boxing career, his financial status and much more. Tyson’s wife Kiki was also present and called Tyson, “The best” as a father and husband at home. Stay tuned for transcripts on Monday…
