In your face, Floyd Mayweather!
Pro boxer and half of the most famous fight that has never taken place, Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao, is now a professional basketball player.
The multi-faceted Pac-man is now a player-coach for the KIA Sorento of the Philippine Basketball Association.
The Pac-man, who seems to be playing in the 2-guard position, failed to score in his debut outing with the Sorento, a fledgling franchise.
While some might find this move surprising, perhaps Pacquiao is not sweating his next outing in the squared circle.
That comes on November 22 in Macao, China, against American pretty boy Chris Algieri, whose face wasn’t so pretty after Russian Ruslan Provodnikov smacked him around the ring during his last outing.
The result was a somewhat improbable Algieri victory in which the “winner” ended up in the hospital, looking like the loser.

At any rate, in his head coaching role with the KIA Sorento, it’s unlikely that the Pac-man will have to take any lip from his players.
