Bryanna Fissori (1-0), also known as the Pink Ranger, won her premiere Bellator fight on Friday evening, besting Iony Razafiarison (2-0) by a unanimous decision after nearly stopping her foe in the final round in Mulvane, Kansas. As part of a packed card, Fissori proved she was worth the investment by putting on an impressive opening performance.
FIssori started the bout off strong, with a takedown and an aggressive ground attack. She took Razafiarison down a second after the halfway point of the round before being taken down herself by round’s end. Still, the Hawaiian Fissori had done enough to dominate.
The second round was a close affair, with both fighters looking to gain control. Razafiarison was able to land clean but Fissori took her foe down again towards the end of the chapter. Still, Razafiarison was able to wrap the round up in dominant fashion.
Fissori was taken down by Razafiarison in the final round, but Fissori worked her way into the dominate position. Each fighter took shots at one another from the mat, with Fissori employing her elbow to effective use. By the end of the round, Fissori had adjusted her position and was firing away at will on Razafiarison. Referee Rob Hinds let the match continue, however, and Razafiarison was able to survive unto the end.
The decision, however, went to Fissori, who took the victory by three straight cards of 29-28. It was an good first showing for Fissori as she made her mark in one of the top MMA organizations the world. By the time the fight ended, there was no questions who was ruling in the cage on Friday.

Part of a team of fighters known as the “Women of War,” Fissori fights out of Honolulu, is trained by Richard de los Reyes and has an impressive amateur background with 3 Pro MMA Fights including one in Bellator. Her debut on Friday was part of the Bellator 139 card featuring Cheick Kongo vs Alexander Volkov in a heavyweight main event.
