HATTON PROMOTIONS are planning non-stop boxing this summer with THREE major shows, proving they are Britain’s busiest promoters.
The first dazzling show takes place in front of the Sky TV cameras at Wigan’s Robin Park Arena on Saturday June 18 when Martin Murray meets Nick Blackwell in a battle for the vacant British middleweight title.
Murray who hails from St Helens will also be risking his Commonwealth crown and WBA inter-continental belt.
On the same bill Manchester Olympian Joe ‘Genius’ Murray faces Alfred Tetteh for the vacant WBA inter-continental featherweight title.
A third title fight sees British lightweight champion Anthony Crolla box for the vacant WBA inter-continental championship.
Craig Watson attempts to regain the British welterweight crown when he challenges Lee Purdy at Oldham Sports Centre on Saturday July 16.
Watson is out for revenge following his shock defeat against the Essex man last month.
On the same card Commonwealth welterweight champion Denton Vassell boxes a non-title six rounder and local boy Darren Stubbs tackles Bob Ajisafe for vacant English light-heavyweight title.
A week later on Saturday July 23, the Hatton Promotions bandwagon rolls into Bury’s Castle Leisure Centre.
Unbeaten local hero Scott Quigg will defend his WBA inter-continental title in his final contest before challenging British champ Jason Booth.
All these shows expect to sell out, but you can order your tickets early by logging onto www.brandhatton.com or calling 0844 847 2500/ 01925 755222
