They don’t call him “Money” for nothing.

Floyd Mayweather, who’s currently training to fight UFC superstar Conor McGregor Aug. 26, is selling off the world’s most expensive car on auction, Fox News reports.

Auction platform Mecum has officially consigned Mayweather’s 2010 $4.8 million Koenigsegg CCXR amid months of speculation that the pound-for-pound champ would part with his prized possession.

It’s the same car Mayweather bought in the lead-up to his fight with Andre Berto in September, 2015 where he told Berto that his car costs more than his opponent’s purse.

According to the Fox News piece, the car’s the main attraction at Mecum’s Pebble Beach auction in Monterey from August 16-19.

Apparently there are only two CCXR Trevitas in existence, with only Mayweather’s being legal to drive, which makes it a big deal for luxury car collectors. (Check out a video of his car here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3D31AcYLoo)

Altogether, his car roster is valued over a whopping $15 million that he doesn’t even drive, per Business Insider. Hiscollection includes a Lamborghini Aventador ($400k), Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano ($350k), two Bugatti 16.4 Veyrons at $1.3 million apiece, and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport ($1.9 million).

And this was in 2015. Here’s an exchange between Mayweather and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith:

ESPN: The seven cars that you showed me are in excess of $15-to-$20 million dollars?

Mayweather: Let me see what’s the number …

ESPN: And you don’t drive them?!

Mayweather: You’re right it’s close to $15 million.

ESPN: And you don’t drive them?!

Mayweather: No.

Mayweather reportedly has separate fleets depending on where he lives; black cars in Las Vegas, white in Miami. (https://www.cheatsheet.com/automobiles/10-of-the-most-exotic-cars-owned-by-floyd-mayweather.html/?a=viewall)

The news comes on the heels of the news that a Miami mansion next to Mayweather’s collected a $8.1 million price sum, almost $400,000 more than Mayweather paid for his a little over a year earlier, according to city records obtained by BoxingInsider.com.

The deal was brokered by Douglas Senada Azdem, a celebrity broker and former Trump Organization VP, who represents a list of Miami athletes, mainly in the boxing and MMA arena.

Mayweather paid $7.7 million for his Miami Beach estate in La Gorce (https://therealdeal.com/miami/2016/05/27/floyd-mayweather-pays-7-7m-for-glitzy-miami-beach-home/), a popular Miami neighborhood for celebrities. The house is on the same gated island that houses (or housed) rapper Lil Wayne, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Jennifer Lopez.
