MAIN EVENT
Brian Agustin Arregui (11-5-1, 7 KOs) def. Vlad “Super Bad” Panin (21-2, 13 KOs)
Welterweight — 10 Rounds
Result: Split Decision (97-93 Arregui, 97-93 Panin, 99-91 Arregui)

Panin circled behind a jab for the first five rounds, throwing little else, while the flat-footed Arregui stalked and tried to nail him with left hooks. An annoying sideshow developed in the fourth when Arregui’s protective cup kept coming loose, forcing multiple stoppages that broke the rhythm of the contest. The fight turned in the sixth as Arregui forced Panin to the ropes and landed left hook-right combinations. Panin responded in the seventh and eighth, finally putting together combinations beyond the jab, but Arregui had a huge ninth — catching Panin on the ropes and nailing him with two lefts and a big right that brought the crowd to its feet. Lynne Carter scored 97-93 for Arregui, John McKaie had 97-93 for Panin, and John Signorile scored it 99-91 for Arregui. The Argentine — a former WBO Youth champion at 154 who competed in the 2020 Summer Olympics — erupted in glee at the decision. Panin, originally from Belarus, came in with notable victories including a second-round TKO of former world champion Devon Alexander.

CO-FEATURE
Justin “Mr. Atlantic City” Figueroa (12-0, 10 KOs) def. Mario “El Torito” Gaston Rios (10-4-1, 7 KOs)
Junior Middleweight — 6 Rounds
Result: TKO Round 2 (2:34)

Figueroa used the first round to size up his opponent rather than letting the crowd sweep him into a brawl. In the second, Rios tried circling away to stay out of danger, but Figueroa reached him with a long right lead and a crushing left hook. Rios went down hard, struggled up gamely, but stumbled noticeably as referee Ricky Vera checked him — prompting the stoppage. Figueroa’s fifth appearance on a Boxing Insider card and his fourth straight knockout at the Tropicana.

Bruce Seldon Jr. (5-0, 4 KOs) def. Gabriel Costa (4-8-1, 2 KOs)
Heavyweight — 4 Rounds
Result: TKO Round 1 (0:53)

Seldon dropped the southpaw Costa with a left hook to the head, then put him away with a booming right to the solar plexus. Fifty-three seconds of work.

Damian Tinnerello (5-0, 4 KOs) def. Jose Edgardo Perdomo (6-5, 3 KOs)
Super Welterweight — 4 Rounds
Result: Unanimous Decision (40-35, 39-36, 39-36)

Tinnerello went the distance for the first time in five pro bouts. He nearly ended it in the first when a left hook to the body and a glancing right to the head dropped Perdomo close to the bell. But the Uruguayan got up and gave him a real fight — returning fire in the third and jolting Tinnerello with a right counter late in the round. Perdomo took the fourth outright with spirited boxing.

Julio Sanchez III (1-0) def. Douglas Leon Diggs (0-4)
Super Lightweight — 4 Rounds
Result: Unanimous Decision (40-36, 40-36, 39-37)

The Pleasantville native’s pro debut. Sanchez used the first round as a learning experience against a difficult, unorthodox opponent. Action picked up in the second as Diggs rallied with a late volley, but Sanchez answered with a solid barrage at the bell. Sanchez grabbed control in the third and stayed in command through the fourth.

Cali Box (5-0, 2 KOs) def. Victor Pradis (2-3-1)
Super Middleweight — 4 Rounds
Result: Unanimous Decision (39-36, 40-35, 40-35)

The rangy Franklin Township fighter dropped Pradis in the first with a left hook-right combination high on the head. Pradis fought gamely in the second, trudging forward and forcing Box to back up. Action stayed close through a solid third before Box sealed the victory with a booming right in the fourth.
