The Wladimir Klitschko-David Haye showdown is on again. The fight will take place in Germany on a date yet to be determined.
BoxingInsider.com columnist Philip H. Anselmo spoke with Emanuel Steward via telephone following Johnathon Banks’ 8th-round KO loss to IBF Cruiserweight champ Tomasz Adamek in Newark, N.J.
Reports Anselmo: “I asked Emanuel Steward if this info was for sure, and he said “Yes, definitely. Wladimir wants this fight bad. He really dislikes this guy.”
Steward received the information via telephone call from the IBF/WBO Heavyweight champion himself.
Steward was disappointed with Banks’ failure against Adamek saying, “He was in the fight for the first five rounds, then he got lazy.”
