Since then, Taylor was defeated twice by Pavlik and Miranda was stopped by Arthur Abraham. Both have rebounded to score recent wins though – Taylor by points over Jeff Lacy and Miranda by KO over Manuel Esperanza – and are now seeking a suitable opponent on the way to a title shot at 168 pounds. Miranda challenged Taylor again last week in a widely-circulated press release as he denounced Taylor’s apparent reluctance to fight him, mockingly altering Taylor’s “Bad Intentions” ring moniker to “No Intentions.”

We contacted Team Miranda to get an update on Taylor vs. Miranda. Greg Wantman, manager of Pantera Boxing said in an e-mail: “From what I hear Taylor will be fighting Allen Green. I guess he wanted a less dangerous opponent. We are trying to get Edison a big fight. Carl Froch is another name that I think would be a great fight and give the fans what they want. If nothing develops soon we will probably look for an ESPN date in March/April and keep Edison busy, possibly do it in Puerto Rico.”
