Roy Jones Jr. Now Interested in Adamek

Since Bernard Hopkins and Golden Boy refuse to negotiate a compromise to the stalled talks with IBF Cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek

Since Bernard Hopkins and Golden Boy refuse to negotiate a compromise to the stalled talks with IBF Cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek – they never offered a second sum other than the original $500,000 – a new, high profile candidate has emerged as a possible foe for the Polish star. According to Ziggy Rozalski, the manager of Adamek, talks have begun with Jones and John Wirt from Square Ring. “John Wirt said it’s very interesting,” said Rozalski. “Roy’s interested. We’re interested.”

And most likely, HBO and Showtime would be interested as well.
