The Best of New York Amateur Boxing
New York, NY — April 3, 2026 — Tickets are now on sale for the Ring Masters Championships 2026 Finals, taking place April 10, 2026 at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden. The event will feature 24 bouts showcasing the top amateur boxers from across the New York Metropolitan area.
Since January, more than 450 athletes have competed across 22 events throughout the region, advancing through qualifying bouts to earn their place in the finals.
“This has been an exciting year of competition,” said Sonya Lamonakis, Vice President of USA Boxing Metro. “We had more shows than last year, more entries, and bigger crowds. We are looking forward to having new champions on April 10, 2026.”
Ring Masters remains New York’s premier amateur tournament, providing a direct pathway from regional competition to the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Tulsa, Oklahoma this May, and onward to international competition and the Olympics.
“We’re proud to present the Ring Masters Championships, our premier tournament and a true proving ground for Metro’s best,” said Ray Cuadrado, President of USA Boxing Metro. “The 2026 class has elevated itself at every stage, earning the opportunity to compete on center stage at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Each Senior division features standout athletes who have fought their way to the finals, many by stoppage, showcasing a high level of skill and determination. While I’m excited to see all finalists perform, names like 132 lb Elite Female Morgan Iocono, 198 lb Elite Male Isaac Parker, and 198+ lb Senior Novice Male John Henriquez highlight the depth of talent this year. There are many more deserving of recognition.
This is what Ring Masters represents, growth, grit, and elite amateur boxing on a world-class stage.”
For returning finalist Carmine Gentile (165 lb Elite Male), the return to Madison Square Garden reflects both momentum and familiarity with the stage.
“Making the finals was a great feeling. Winning by KO to advance to the finals was a big moment, and it gives me good momentum going into the finals.”
He now enters the finals aiming for a second consecutive title.
“I am excited to fight again for Ring Masters finals going for the back to back championships. Fighting in Madison Square Garden means a lot.”
“There’s no better place to fight as a boxer than the Garden.”
Nikki Campbell (132 lb Elite Female) enters the finals with a longer view, seeking a fifth title across four weight classes and building on years of competition within the tournament.
“I’m honored and beyond grateful to be experiencing this normally once in a lifetime opportunity for the 5th time.”
Her experience brings a different kind of pressure and perspective to the stage.
“I’m ready to perform under the bright lights of MSG, push my limits and represent everyone who has supported me on this journey!”
