NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION! LIVE MMA AT THE PALACE THIS SATURDAY NIGHT
On Saturday, January 14, Michigan’s top combat-sports promoter, Joseph Donofrio (in association with Impact Fight League and Palace Sports and Entertainment) will complete his impressive back-to-back series of events at the Palace of Auburn Hills, with “New Year’s Revolution”, a night of elite mixed martial arts.
Donofrio staged a successful night of professional boxing at the world-famous Palace last Friday, but this week returns there with the more successful end of his fight-sport empire: a complete card of full-contact Mixed Martial Arts cage fights between many of the best fighters this MMA-rich state has as to offer.
“This just goes to show you how much the fans in Michigan love a night at the fights,” said an excited Donofrio. “Last week’s boxing went very well and now we’re back with MMA, which has drawn over 5000 fans to some of our past events. January has been a great month for fights fans at the Palace.”
“New Year’s Revolution” will feature six men’s title fights and one women’s, plus 16 fights in total.
Donofrio has built a name for the elaborate productions at his events, and “New Year’s Revolution” will be a feast for the senses with beautiful cage girls, booming DJ music, amazing light shows and the superb work of ring announcer Phil “The Voice” Davey to accompany the all-action match-ups in the cage.
Tickets for “New Year’s Revolution” are available at Palacenet.com, The Palace box office, and all TicketMaster outlets, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000. The action starts at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM. Special VIP Cageside Tables are available by calling 248.770-6000. For more information, visit wwwdonofriomma.com.
