Frank Trigg vs Denniss Hallman

Boxinginsider.com: In a rematch with some very deep bad blood Dennis Hallman and Frank Trigg will tangle again in the cage. This fight means a lot in the 170-pound division right now with no champion and both these fighters being at the top of the world rankings. What do you know about each fighter's history and who do you see coming out on top?

Eddie Bravo: Both fighters are in the top ten for sure in the 170 division. Frank Trigg -- powerful wrestler, phenomenal cardio, decent striker; Dennis Hallman, fantastic at submissions, one of the best submission fighters in MMA, he's got a really good no-gi game. But I see Frank Trigg coming out on top in this fight solely based on the fact that Dennis Hallman has a history of gassing in his fights and Frank Trigg doesn't. Frank Trigg is a cardio machine, and I see Frank Trigg surviving Dennis Hallman's submission attempts early and tiring him out, out-hustling him and then getting a TKO, ground and pound stoppage late in the fight.

Phil Baroni vs. Evan Tanner

Boxinginsider.com: Speaking of bad blood and rematches with controversial decisions, Phil Baroni and Evan Tanner will throw down again on this card.. What did you think of their first clash at UFC 45 and the stoppage?

Eddie Bravo: One of the most controversial matches ever. Phil Baroni was putting a beat down on Evan Tanner and the referee stopped the fight, checked the cuts, gave Evan Tanner time to recover when it looked like he was going down. Even Tanner took advantage of that stoppage and turned the fight around and ended up mounting Phil Baroni dropping bombs, and there was just a lot of confusion between the ref and Phil Baroni. The ref was asking Phil questions while he was getting bombed on. There was misunderstanding and miscommunication.

The ref ends up stopping the fight and Phil Baroni gets pissed off and punches the ref. It was just crazy controversy. Now this is a rematch that most MMA fans have been waiting for. They need to do it again and they need to settle it once and for all with no controversy, and I can see Phil Baroni coming out on top. He's very hard to take down. Tanner is going to have a hard time taking him down. I think Evan Tanner is going to get beat down standing again. Phil Baroni is a vicious puncher. I can see the fight ending standing with Phil Baroni getting a KO.

Boxinginsider.com: How can you excuse the fact that he punched a referee even if it was a bad decision?

Eddie Bravo: Yes, I personally can forgive him. I like Phil Baroni. I like what he brings to the sport. Love him or hate him you know you want to watch him fight. He always comes to brawl. He gives 100 percent. Some people don't like his cocky attitude but we need that. We needs heels. It's very important that you have bad guys in pro-wrestling. You need that for the fans. There are good guys and bad guys. Phil Baroni chose to take the heel route, and I like it. I'm a fan of Phil Baroni's. He comes out and brawls. Phil Baroni does not get in boring fights.

Matt Hughes vs Renato "Charuto" Verisimo

Boxinginsider.com: Former UFC welterweight champion and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, Matt Hughes, returns after his loss to BJ Penn. This time Hughes is facing Penn's mentor and training partner Renato "Charuto" Verisimo. What do you know about Charuto's grappling skills and do you think that Matt will run into the same problems in this fight as he did against Penn, and how do you see this fight ending?

Eddie Bravo: I was really impressed with Verrisimo in his last couple of fights. I saw him fight against Gil Castillo. He completely dominated Gil Castillo. Gil Castillo is an accomplished wrestler with a serious jujitsu background and Renato Verisomo just handled him, and then Verisimo took apart Carlos Newton. Verisimo is one hell of a fighter -- really tough, hard to take down, good balance, good jujitsu on the ground. I really haven't seen too much in the finishing department. He hasn't really proved to me that he's a finisher yet, but I know he's hard to finish -- almost impossible.

I am pretty sure Matt Hughes is not going to submit Verisimo unless he hurts and rocks him. Verisimo could dominate just like he dominated Carlos Newton in every aspect of the game -- standing and on the ground -- or there is a chance that Matt Hughes just takes down Verisimo time and time again and just grounds and pounds a decision out of him.

As I said, Matt Hughes: it is very unlikely that he can submit Verisimo or even pass his guard. I don't see Matt passing his guard. If Matt Hughes wins, it is going to be because he was able to get the takedowns, stay in the guard, push him against the fence, and grind a decision out.. That is really the only way I see Matt Hughes winning. I put my money on Verisimo in this fight. I think he's a future UFC star.

Tim Sylvia vs Frank Mir - For Vacent UFC Heavyweight Title

Boxinginsider.com: The co-main event: Tim Sylvia versus Frank Mir. Do you think that Sylvia's strength and power will be able to finish the grappling-savvy of Frank Mir? How do you see this match unfolding?

Eddie Bravo: I think that if Frank Mir cannot take Tim Sylvia down -- and it's not very likely that he can take him down -- I think that Frank Mir is going to be in trouble. Two things are also going against Frank Mir: the reach of Tim Sylvia and the power of his right hand. His striking is going to be too much for Mir, and Frank Mir has a history of fatiging in fights, so I'm goin with Sylvia in this one.

So if Tim Sylvia can survive the initial onslaught of Frank Mir, which would be Frank Mir trying to take down Tim Sylvia with everything he has, if he can survive that and stay up and tire out Frank Mir a little bit, I see Frank Mir getting KO'd on his feet.

Boxinginsider.com: So Eddie, I understand that you have new website out. Do you want to tell us about that?

Eddie Bravo: www.thetwister.tv.. I just got it up; I've got three of my favorite techniques up there. Just giving it away for free. I know I'm an idiot, but I'm very nice when it comes to techniques. I like to share. It's got the 10th Planet jujitsu 7-minute promo so you can download that. It's like an infomercial on my school. It's very entertaining. It also has a couple of other cool things like school address, directions to the school, schedule class times -- that kind of stuff.
