Oscar De La Hoya tells it like it is. Well, sometimes at least. Here is the Golden Man articulating his strong opinion about former opponent and current business associate Floyd Mayweather Jr.

This quote is not a recent Tweet or a posting on Facebook, as a matter of fact, it was spoken by Oscar De La Hoya about Floyd Mayweather Jr. a few years ago, 2007 to be exact…

“I truly feel that Mayweather Jr. needs a humbling experience. He really is a little brat,” said De La Hoya. “Just the way he comes across. I mean, he’s very arrogant. I mean, obviously we were on the press tour for so many days. And he can get up on the podium and say a few nice things. And then his real side will come out. I mean, he starts talking all this trash about I’m nothing and I haven’t fought anybody. And this and that. And it’s uncalled for. It’s unnecessary. I mean, you would never see Tiger Woods talk bad about Jack Nicklaus. It’s just something that’s disrespectful.”
