Shannon Briggs: David Haye will get Terminated
By Scoop Malinowski

Former WBO Heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs does not approve of Cruiserweight champ David Haye hastily trying to cut in line on the rest of the heavyweight division on the way to a title fight with Wladimir Klitschko next year, if the Ukrainian takes care of his two upcoming mandatory defenses against Tony Thompson and Alexander Povetkin.

Briggs does not understand what the fuss is about The Hayemaker. “Haye sucks. He’s really bad, he’s green.”

Briggs believes Haye’s outspoken public behavior is a publicity stunt. “He’s faking, he’s looking for a payday. He should fight his way to the top. He does not deserve a shot, he has proven nothing, even Holyfield who came up from cruiser fought guys Dokes, Tillman, etc.”

Briggs could be a potentially dangerous next choice on Haye’s heavyweight journey as the New Yorker’s punch power could leave Haye in a similar state like Carl Thompson did. When I suggest to Shannon his hitting power might terminate Haye, Briggs disagreed. “No, he would get terminated. Fact.”

So Shannon Briggs has officially entered into the David Haye’s next opponent pool, along with Hasim Rahman, Oliver McCall, and David Tua, among others.
