Most Painful Moment: “Being told that I might not be able to box again ( in 2004). A false medical report – they said I had a gray spot on my brain. And it turned out to be false. Cost me six months.”

Funny Boxing Memory: “Boxing’s not funny to me. I don’t laugh at boxing. People getting hurt is never funny to me.”

Embarrassing Boxing Memory: “I’ve never really been embarrassed, to tell you the truth. I’ve always been proud of myself – even in defeat. Because I know I always gave it my all.”
